Unfortunately, this book was over-hyped and we couldn’t get through it. We just found the writing to be dull and we didn’t connect with any of the characters. The premise originally sounded interesting to us because we liked the idea of the MC visiting a creepy island full of secrets. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is a super popular YA book with of over a million ratings on Goodreads.
